Here is some background about the farm.
Located outside our facility in Fenton, MO just outside St. Louis where the summers are hot and the winters are cold.  Rain, wind, snow and ice are all experienced in big and small doses.  On the farm are SLP’s Citadel Enclosures that are built to withstand the elements to the extreme and what better way to prove that than to test it in the real elements.  There is also a CircLED, Remote Box and some other items have come and gone.  Most have withstood the test of time, but a few did degrade after many years.  The SLP engineering team has the units wired to rotate power on and off throughout the day and night.

The idea of the test farm originated back in 2004 to test our newest product the Citadel 2 against our competitors. This idea has since transferred from our company location at Adie Road in St. Louis the Fenton Facility.

It has transformed from setting to setting.  Been rebuilt a few times, but the fixtures continue to beat the odds.
