SLP Lighting manufactures only a portion of the components that go into building a complete luminaire. The balance of the components that are acquired from other sources make a major impact on the photometric performance of the complete luminaire.

The Photometric Test Data provided here is intended only as a means to compare those products that are offered by SLP Lighting.

The photometric test data offered is in industry standard format and generated by a third party independent testing company. It is the responsibility of others to determine suitability of the provided data for their purposes.

SLP Lighting recommends that customers have their finished luminaires photometrically evaluated to assure that their data reflects the performance based on the specific combination of components utilized.

Chemical Resistance

Chemical resistance is a difficult area for any designer due to the fact that the resistance is dependent on so many different factors: concentration, mix of chemicals, humidity, air flow, etc. SLP provides components to many customers and we never know the conditions of the installation.

SLP does publish the material of which parts are made but must leave the suitability to others. We have asked our material suppliers on many occasions if our product will stand up to specific environments and their answer is always the same: It needs to be tested in the exact environment to know how the material will perform.
