With all the gasket machine controls in place to computer control mixture parameter, laser measure height, and durometer testing for finished production parts, SLP still uses the IP Booth for Quality Assurance – SLP has added prevention measures to perform a bi-monthly UL WET & IP testing from random sample Citadel inventory.

Each test follows this process:

• Assemble Test Sample and Prep for testing
• Prepare Test Chamber for IPXX Test
• Mount Fixture inside chamber
• Initiate Test
• Complete Test
• Inspect fixture for any moisture or leaks

SLP uses indicator paper inside the interior of the lenses, this can be useful to verify that no water has entered the fixture.
